Before it was a pair of glasses, it was a tree.
A walnut, a smoked oak, a maple, rooted in the earth for decades, shaped by wind and time. Each fiber tells a story, each grain is unique, marking the passing of the seasons.
We don’t just carve wood. We give a second life to living matter. We respect it, we understand it, we let it express itself. This is how our eyewear is born: at the crossroads of naturalness and craftsmanship.
Each pair is unique. Just like you.
It all begins just a few miles from our workshop.
A craftsman has been working with wood for several generations. Our partners are more than just suppliers: they are faces, knowledge handed down from hand to hand, bonds of trust forged over the years.
Each eyewear is the fruit of this virtuous circle.
By choosing Six-Sept, you’re not just supporting a designer: you’re supporting a chain of enthusiasts who share the same values.
Here, everything is carefully thought out, manufactured and assembled. Because the greatest luxury is knowing where what you’re wearing comes from.
In our workshop in the heart of the Fribourg Pre-Alps, everything begins with a gesture.
A clean cut, precise sanding, a finish applied with patience. Here, the machines impose nothing: they accompany the hand. They follow the exacting eye of the craftsman, who knows when a detail is perfect, when a wood has reached its ideal shine.
Making eyewear isn’t about assembling parts. It’s about giving an object a soul. It’s about feeling the material, soaking up its grain, knowing exactly where to stop and let it breathe.
Every pair that leaves our workshop carries with it hours of work, reflection and love of the craft. And when it arrives in your hands, the story continues.
